A great film. 50 out of 100
Having read the book a while ago I was a bit nervous about the film. But it was a great adaptation. It left out the bits that would have slowed down the film but keep the story intact. A very interesting film

Had Peers but physically only 10 out of 100
The beginning of this film worked well. An old man untouched by life. This inspired his elderly 'peers' to see the eyes through the world of a little child and live differently. However this didnt translate to a young child (4years old) having lived a life and mixing with his young 'peers'. Rather as a 4 year old he was still living with old people in the same home explaining himself to social services as to why he wasnt in school. This scene hit my funny bone and left cinema laughing so dont kn

Curiously good 45 out of 100
Great movie, read previous reviews and dreaded the thought of watching it but it's a lovely movie. It's well acted, thought provoking and story and subplot are both good. You can see where it is going in the end but there are a few turns that you don't expect on the way

Will take a lifetime to watch! 35 out of 100
Took me 3 sittings to get this one in, don't watch it tired! It's one mans entire life on film and in fairness, it's done well and looks the part but is longer than it needs to be. Film makers might like the slow transition from brown stock, to orange and finally to cooler stock in greens and blues, that's nicely done

Very good flick, well paced. Cate Blanchett steals the show. The consequences of his aging reversal on his family are mesmering, as is the last few scenes.

Although this began very slowly, gradually you find yourself drawn in and watch the progress of Benjamin with fascination. Great acting from Leonardo and Cate. Really enjoyed it.

Reccomend highly but sour taste after 40 out of 100
Very watchable and good effects as well as a story that takes you in to Benjamin Button's world. However left some uneasy feeling when Benjamin and Romantic interest ages were inverse of each other. Probably intended in book? but in film foud it strange rather than raising philospical issues.

A Child is born as an old man and lives his life getting younger. Strange concept which really works well, the Special Effects are faultless, the acting very good, with an odd ending.

Fantastic Movie 45 out of 100
one of the best movies I've seen in a long time - I get the impression from the reviews it's a case of love it or hate it. It's long but the time flies challenges views on ageing growing up - I cried buckets. Blanchet is brilliant in it, it's really interesting and very moving go see!

I really enjoyed this film, a very simple story, no confusion over Benjamin recalling his life from present back to the past where there can be a times with some films. The sequence of events were well put together. very well made film in directing and acting. Sometimes the simple stories are the best! I would watch it again.

I really liked this - didn't have good expectations to begin with but ended up really enjoying it. The cinematography is a work of art in inself. Not to mention the gorgeous Brad...that is once he gets to a reasonable age. This is a good one.

I can't believe this film has got such bad reviews from people on here. It was one of the best films I've seen in ages. Generally I think Brad Pitt can be a bit same-y in his roles, but thought this was an excellent performance. It's a story about love - on lots of different levels, and is well worth a watch.

This film is trying to be Big Fish crossed with Magnolia. It tries too hard and ends up being over long, with no real heart. Maybe its because of the excessive make-up at the start, but you don't really connect with the central character enough.

A strange movie. Well shot and with some really thought provoking lines, but maybe the reverse ageing thing is a bit too out there. Very slow to get going and also quite long. You do have to accept the weirdness to see some beauty.

Brad Pitt is excellent in this one, conveying the personality and qualities of Benjamin Button consistently, despite changing appearance throughout the movie. Interesting story, reminded me of Sean O'Faolain's "And Again". Main fault with this is that it is very drawn out and overlong.

This is completely perposterous drivel - it has put me off Fincher, Pitt and Blancett... Story ludicrous, characters unlikeable, flat out racism in the "oh lord have massy, yessum" blacks straight out of Gone with the Wind, uncomfortable pedophilic undertones... it's unforgivable tosh. The most curious thing about it is how it managed not to cease to exist through disappearance up its own arse!!

This movie was far too long! They could have left an hour on the editing room floor and it would have affected the finished movie!! By the end I was just praying for it to be over and for me it took from the overall appreciation of what was a nice film with a gorgeous Brad Pitt. Even he couldn't save it though!

This is a fantasy about a man who ages in reverse and deals with issues such as the passage of time, the elusiveness of experience and the nature of love. The make up & special effects are brilliant and subtle. Very interesting.

This was a hugely disappointing film. The story drags along at a tedious pace and I lost three hours which I can never get back. The special affects are the only good thing about this film. Basically, the film shows Benjamins whole life (80yrs of it!!!) which has been squeezed into three hours. However, because they spent so much time trying to cram his whole life in the fim doesn't really get time to develop on a few good sub plots but instead plods along to the point where you just want to
