Synopsis:Captain Jack Is Back! Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) is mortified to discover he owes a blood debt to the legendary Davey Jones, captain of the ghostly Flying Dutchman. With time running out, Jack must find a way out of his debt or else be doomed to eternal damnation. And as if this weren't enough, his problems prompt the cancellation of the wedding plans of a certain Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley), who are forced to join Jack on another maritime misadventure!

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest 45 out of 100
The second action packed installment to the Pirates of the Caribbean films. Depp lights up the screen as the bumbling Capt. Jack Sparrow backed by his (sometimes loyal) crew and Bloom and Knightly, he embarks on a quest to find the chest containing Davey Jones' heart in order to avoid fulfilling an agreement made with Davey Jones himself. One not to be missed ...

2 things - if you've not seen the first see it first - if you didn't like it don't see this - great stuff - rock star pirates, Depp even more self indulgently excentric and not so creepy ghost tales. Great stuff really - loved it - butoh does the ending leave you wanting more

Davey Jones' bank balance 15 out of 100
I felt like I'd started this film half way through, and can only think that tonnes of scenes ended up in the recycle bin. Johnny Depp was good, Keira Knightly was OK, the rest of the cast where taking the money and running. The plot is all over the place, stacks of money was spent on the special effects. Don't try to watch while eating dinner as the monsters are really icky. It was all a bit too up itself, lots of 'in' jokes and no attention to a proper story except setting up for a sequel.

part one of two 35 out of 100
Although the second movie in the trilogy it's really a first part of two. The first film stands on it's own but this one is the start of two, it might be a better movie to see as a series rather than alone. Still a fun romp.

We loved the first one, but this one just wasn't quite as good. Johnny Depp is brilliant (as always!!), but i wasn't blown away - which is unusual for me with any Johnny Depp movie! It is worth a look though!
