Cannot fault this film, superb all round. it is pure class. No one in their right mind could regret renting it. Top stuff.

Good film, solid cast and involving story, took a few liberties with the facts of the case depicted but despite this would recommend.

Good re-make of a true story 30 out of 100
I never really like Angelina Jolie, I think she's over-rated but she gives a good, subdued performance in this re-make of a true story. It is actually a true story, they didn't make it up.

The Changeling 45 out of 100
It is amazing that this film which documents the facts behind a terrible wielding of corrupt power by local officials in America is fact and not fiction. The eventual exposure of the mishandling of the investigation of a crime, the coverup and total lack of honesty makes for a satifactory ending to a dreadful episode.

Thought the movie was rather slow moving . Nothing gripping within the film. Quite drawn out . Another movie I think is worth a watch, everybodys tastes differ.

Great movie 45 out of 100
This is a really great movie. Clint Eastwood just keeps getting better and better with each film. The plot is almost unbelieveable in what transpires. Channgeling is extremely well acted from all concerned and will hold your attention all the way to the end.

Substancial entertainment 40 out of 100
Very entertaining film. My wife and I watched it with our fourteen year old son who generally watches football and violent stuff, even he was impressed. MsJolie was a surprise, I had her down as a bimbo, but she was entirely believable in her role. The depiction of the power of the police and state over ordinary people was shocking and a real eye opener for me, reminded me of good old Ireland of the 60's etc. Yep overall a good film, with a solid storyline, well acted. Get it out.

I just want to say that it is one of the best films I have seen. It is very sad that it is a true story but it opens your eyes to what it was like years ago. Would highly recommend it to girls & guys!

Great great movie. Based on a true story the acting and portrayal of bother mother and "son" were great. Character development all the way through. Angelina really carried this one off, like she knew in real life what it felt like to lose a child. Hard to believe that LAPD got away with such things back then

Engaging 40 out of 100
Jolie's delivers a standout performance among excellent performances in this 30's period drama that touches on sexism, official corruption, fraud and all manner of evils that can be perpetrated by an uncontrolled authority. At over two hours it never lags so Eastwood (with a story written by, of all people, JMS of Babylon 5 fame!) delivers a fine display. Don't let the subject matter or lead actress put you off, it's excellent.

Another excellent period piece from director Clint Eastwood, with a superb lead performance from Jolie. There's a part of the storyline which you don't see on the trailer, which just makes the film that much more shocking. An excellent movie all round, a must see.

Excellent 45 out of 100
Not a big fan of Jolie but she shines here. It's an incredible story of corruption in the LAPD of the 1930's expertly filmed by Eastwood. The helplessness of the ordinary citizen, especially women, in the face of corrupt officialdom is breath-taking and depressingly familiar in an Irish context. I'm not too familiar with the actual story but I don't think Eastwood has taken too many liberties. He just lets the outrageousness speak for itself. Top marks.

Hard to believe this went on... both the serial killing and the archaic society cover ups depicted in the film. Then again, what am I saying... this is Ireland! Good film, worth a watch.

Changeling - a triumph! 50 out of 100
Fantastic film, exceptionally well directed and Jolie's performance was just one of a series of excellent ones throughout the film. Very hard to watch at times due to the harshness of the story but well worth staying with it to the end.

Am not an Anjelina Fan but this is definatly worth a look. Clint Eastwood does an amazing directoral on this. Heartbreaking story abount a woman whose child is abduted and her fight with the LAPD to get HER son abck. Brilliant stuff.

A Child goes missing, then when the police find and return him, his mother is convinced its not her son. Very good film, Angelina Jolie gives good drama. The script is well written, and all the actors (especially the baddies) are really good. Was surprised it was based on a true story, which made it all the more watchable.

The only thing more amazing than Christine Collin's (true) story is that we haven't already heard of her. Can't recommend this enough - muted direction from Eastwood, Angelia was brilliant, supporting cast all good, attention to period detail amazing... Be sure to see it if you haven't already
