HAHAHA HOHOHO and a couple of tralalas....That's how you spend the flipping 2 hours in the merry, stupid, crappish, useless, ridiculous and laughable world of Roland Emmerich... Someone rid us of him please ! It's a heap of bolonis, beyond any doubt... even if you think the prophecy is true, you can't take this seriously, it's crap...can screenclick put a minus rating? Or 0 at least. 1 star is a reward for that film.

I thought this had alot of plot similarites to that of "THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW" but the sepcial effects were better in this film there was more action and more twists and turns and hanging on the edge of ur seat type moments. i enjoyed it despite the already stated very obvious plot similarities.

Disaster is appropiate 5 out of 100
Utter rubbish, I know all these movies you have to take a large step outside reality and put your brain in neutral but this just took it to another level I blame CGI as they seem to have just gone mad with it. in comparison with say the day after tomorrow this is rubbish even deep impact and armageddon are more worthy, plot has as many holes as the earth crust in this yawn fest.

Apart from the odd scene that looks brilliant graphically on blu ray, the movie itself is crap. Crap story line, crap script, crap acting. Don't bother wasting your time with this one.

Good but same storyline as everything else 30 out of 100
This kept me interested and some of it did freak me out with the way the world ends abruptly, just made me question would it be that quick Id rather like to think not but it really reminded me of War of Thw Worlds without the aliens. Storyline was fairly the same, Dad tries to save himself and the kids from doom.

This was an ok film though i was disappointed to see John Cusack in this, i figure he must h ave needed the cash!! Effects were ok but not much different from the film The Day after Tomorrow, so if you liked that film, this is along the same lines.

Very Similar to Day after tomorrow and you'd be forgiven for giving up after the first 25 mins, but try to stick it out if you can, its a real treat of a film, Cusack is brilliant and its about time that he got back in the saddle!

Effects were great... no in fact they were brilliant but my God, what a lode of rubbish. It doesn’t seen to know who it was aimed at. There is way to much death and destruction for kids yet it’s so “Disney” and nine year old at times. I watched it and I enjoyed it but luv a duck, what a lode of rubbish

We heard about this been one of the best dvd's in all time.I was disapointed in what i saw :( .My own opinion is that it wasn't good at all, I got a little board during half way! The rest that watched it said it was the best movie they saw in ages! :)

Disasterous Movie. 10 out of 100
This is just one awful movie. I don't know how John Cusack got talked into making this rubbish, I've lost all respect for him. I know this is a special effects movie but a little bit of a storyline would have helped. Too many near misses in the first half hour just turned me off altogether, I didn't care if they made it to the giant arks ( laughable) and survived. Don't waste your money on this.

I found this film to be very boring too many effects for me -its like the edge of your seat typical hollywood movie but not realistic enough for me - very much like the fantasy raiders of the lost ark loads of action packed scenes but beyond truth I got bored half way through and fell asleep

As a Saturday night popcorn action flick it's exactly what you'd expect, apart from the fac that John Cusack takes the lead role to add a little credibility to a film where suspension of belief is required in large doses!! The special effects are overwhelming at times and totally rediculous of course but it's entertaining in a shallow meaningless way. The short walk on parts by a variety of unexpected well known actors that should know better adds a fleeting moment of interest but otherwise it's

Enjoyable special effects driven romo. 30 out of 100
Ok, so there are plot holes the size of the volcano that opens up in Yellowstone Park, but this is good fun none the less. Shut off your brain and forget about no-fly zones near active volcanos. Fun to watch and huge in scale.

If the world was going to end, the last thing you would be inclined to do is spend your last hours watching this. from one Roger Rabbitesque car chase, plane chase, boat chase to everything going wrong. this film had more disasters in one hour than Summer Bay in 15 years. At one stage i willed them all to die. im ashamed.

For me, this was the same old same old as Independence Day and the Day After Tomorrow, only it was a lot worse. I think this director should move on to a different subject matter.
