Synopsis:Travellers who take a wrong turn wind up becoming the planned main course for the hungry residents of a strange little town... Four college students who follow a bogus detour sign arrive in the town of Pleasant Valley, whose residents are hard at work preparing for their weekend 'Guts and Glory' jubilee. Soon the confederate knife fodder arrive and are declared 'guests of honour' by the one eyed Mayor, played by everyone;'s favourite sadist Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger). A re-make of the 1964 classic.

What a load of
This had potential as a comedy horror, but instead I had to sit through a full-length borefest, with lazy clichés about southern Americans, poorly-directed shock scenes, and a distinct lack of satisfaction.

The South's Gunna Rise Again!
Fun horror/comedy flick with Freddy as the mayor of a funky town. It is very much in the tone of the tongue-in-cheek later entries in the Nightmare on Elm Street series, but a cut above to say the least! It's gory, sexy, sick and quite imaginative for the death scenes.

Average Horror flick
If you like blood guts and gore in your horror, this won't dissapoint. Its funny, and sexy, and gory.. if thats your bag, go for this!

Don't bother...
I was drunk watching this and apart from a few laughs even the aclcohol couldn't save it. A complete waste of time, watch the trailer and save yourself the bother

Drivel
I found this to be tiresome. So tiresome in fact that I started ironing during it so as to improve the mood. Apart from some attractive actresses (?), this has little to offer...

BLOOD, GUTS AND FREDDIE IN ANOTHER ROLE
If you are old enough to remember Freddie "Nightmare on Elm Street" Then you should enjoy his new role as the Main Man in this little town. He welcomes everyone and doesn't want you to leave until the party is over. 80's horror revisited with nastier endings. Good fun, no brainer = GFNB..

Typically bad horror.
Rubbish all the way through until it gets worse with the standard sting in the tail that all horror films seem to have now. Theres no good or bad guys so you dont care what happens and you are just glad when it finishes.
